Berger Paints NU Wall Putty

NU Putty is a ready-to-use, high-quality interior wall putty designed to provide a smooth, durable, and uniform base for water-based paints. Specially formulated for use on cement surfaces, concrete, chipboard, plywood, and similar interior substrates, it enhances paint adhesion and helps achieve a flawless, professional-quality finish. Before application, the surface should be completely dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, dirt, and loose paint. Previously painted surfaces should be scraped to remove any flaking paint, and applying a thin coat of Berger Plastron Primer is recommended to ensure better adhesion and a superior final finish. NU Putty is intended for interior use only and should not be applied on exterior surfaces. It is ideal for preparing walls where a smooth and even finish is required before painting. Under normal conditions, the putty becomes surface dry in approximately 2 hours and is ready for overcoating with finishing paint after 16 hours. It provides a coverage of approximately 5–7 square meters per kilogram per coat, depending on the surface condition and application method. NU Putty is available in 5 kg and 20 kg packaging sizes, making it suitable for both residential and commercial interior painting projects.
