NU PrimeSeal (Berger)

Berger NU Prime Seal is a high-quality water-based interior primer specially formulated to provide excellent sealing and protection for interior surfaces. Its advanced formulation helps resist alkali and moisture present in new plaster surfaces while creating a tough and flexible film that prevents moisture penetration through the paint layer. Suitable for cement render, concrete, lime plaster, asbestos cement sheets, and other surfaces requiring protection against moisture or alkaline effects, it provides a strong and durable base for finishing paints. Before application, surfaces should be completely dry, clean, and free from grease, dust, and loose material to ensure proper adhesion. Berger NU Prime Seal can be applied by thinning with water in a 1:1 ratio for brush application, with two coats recommended for better results. It dries within approximately one hour and can be recoated after 2–3 hours, providing coverage of around 12–14 square meters per litre per coat depending on surface absorbency. Available in 3.64L and 14.56L packaging sizes, Berger NU Prime Seal is an ideal choice for creating a smooth, moisture-resistant, and long-lasting base for interior paint finishes.
