Concealed Hinges

A concealed hinge (commonly known in the local market as a "Cup Hinge," "Euro Hinge," or "Cabinet Hinge") is a hidden mechanical hinge system designed to remain completely concealed inside cabinet doors and frames when closed. Unlike traditional external hinges, concealed hinges provide a clean, modern appearance with no visible hardware on the outside, making them the preferred choice for kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, office furniture, and premium interior storage systems. These hinges are categorized according to the door mounting style, including full overlay hinges where the cabinet door fully covers the side panel edge, half overlay hinges used for double-door cabinets sharing a central partition, and inset hinges where the door sits flush inside the cabinet frame for a seamless finish. Modern concealed hinges often feature advanced upgrades such as hydraulic soft-close mechanisms that prevent doors from slamming by providing smooth and silent closing action, along with 3D adjustment systems that allow precise alignment of door height, depth, and side position. Clip-on mounting plates are also available, allowing quick installation and removal of cabinet doors without completely removing the hinge screws. Proper installation requires a specialized boring process using a 35mm Forstner bit to create the hinge cup recess inside the door panel. For long-lasting performance, high-quality materials such as stainless steel SS 304 hydraulic hinges are recommended for moisture-prone areas like kitchens and bathrooms, as they provide better corrosion resistance compared to standard plated steel hinges.
